At the Sustainability meet up this month in University of Galway – J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics we had a vibrant mix of staff and students, who shared sustainability updates and opportunities.

Applications are open for the University of Galway Student Sustainability Leadership Awards 2024. Open to current University of Galway students, successful applicants will be offered a €4,000 scholarship for an 8-week placement with the Sustainability Office this summer. The central aim of the awards programme is to develop student leaders that are dedicated and enthusiastic about creating a more sustainable campus and community.

Congratulations to Johanna Clancy for winning Seed Funding in the Competition for Developing Innovative Pedagogic Approaches and Teaching Practices in PRME

We shared the beta SDG showcase site and invited feedback asked staff in the business school to submit Sustainability posters for the Regional Business Summit.
